September was an amazing month in terms of yardage, kittens. Even with cross stitching, spinning, and some sewing, I still managed to knock out a big number.   Large worsted weight projects and fingering weight yarn held double will do wonders for the tally.  September is my personal best for 2014, but I’m hoping I can beat it in the next three months.  With some sweaters planned, it shouldn’t be impossible if I can focus on them and find the time to work.  We were teased with some cooler weather earlier in the month, and now all I have on my mind is warm drinks, soups, and miles of squishy garter stitch. Bring on Fall!

What have you all been up to?  Did you get much done in September?

Episode 85: Much Distract. So Interrupt.

Today I’m a little goofy and the episode is rather choppy due to uncooperative dogs. But that doesn’t stop me from sharing some yarny projects, cross stitch, and a I talk a bit about my shop, Lamby Toes. Thank you for taking some time out of your day to join me! Full show notes can be found on the blog at sewknitpicky.net, and if you’re so inclined, come join us in the Ravelry group!

August was a pretty amazing month in terms of yardage; I finished many projects thanks to the slightly cooler than normal weather we had.  I’m hoping September’s yardage will be even more amazing  since I have plans to knit some larger projects like a worsted weight shawl and to finish up a long term sweater project.  The weather is looking to cool down fast, and the evenings are getting chilly: just perfect for lots of yarny bliss.

Do you have any big plans for the fall, kittens?  (Or the spring, if it applies to you?)
