WiPs:
♥ Margo Poncho by Elizabeth Smith ($6) in Cascade EcoWool #8049 “Dark Ash.” I’m rounding the halfway mark on this knit.
Spinning A Yarn:

♥ Lots of spinning to come in the next few weeks.
Stitcher’s Corner:
♥ Once Upon A Time Sampler by Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery – January block. This one is giving me some trouble, but I have sorted it out and hopefully it’s smooth sailing from here on out.
♥ Storytime Sampler clue #1 goes live next Wednesday!
♥ Marie asked me a couple of questions regarding socks that I answered this week. The first was about sock gauge, and the second was about laundering. I forgot to mention in this section that commercial detergents are more likely to felt your wool in general, but Tide is one of the worst offenders. Please do not use it on woolen objects unless felting is your objective!
♥ On New Year’s Eve I spent a couple of hours getting real about my fiber stash. I put everything on my bed, sorted it by time acquired and club vs. other purchases, and then I documented it all and tallied it up: I have 365.0 oz of fiber currently in stash. That’s 22.8 pounds…or a toddler! If I make the minimum of my 2015 goal, I should have it down to about 20 pounds this time next year.
