Yardage Totals 2021:
Kittens! Fall is nearly over and winter is fast approaching. The season of knitting fast to stay warm is here.
While November was still quite cross stitch heavy, I did manage to work up quite a bit of fibery yardage this month. Admittedly, I’m missing a bit from some toe caps I knit the final day but didn’t weigh the yarn cake before starting so I will have to claim it in December, and the majority of the yardage I get to claim is because I have a secret project on the needles which is partially crochet. Bonus for eating up extra yarn and working up so fast!
My only knitting goal for 2021 is to knit something every month: Sure did! I’m really happy to see how well things are going with no hard crafting goals was set for the year. I’ve enjoyed the lack of structure. It’s definitely hand knit and light woolies weather now. My hand knit socks are already in rotation to keep my feet toasty. I see no reason that December will not be another month full of crafts and reflection.
What about you, kitten? Are you making anything right now? Have you had the focus and desire to Make anything? Maybe you’re reading something interesting? The end of the year is nigh: are you getting your 2022 plans in order if you’re someone who likes to do that? Or are you a more unstructured sort? I’d love to hear what you’re up to!
Take care of yourselves and each other.
XO,
Amanda
