April’s yardage tally is coming a little bit early, kittens. Since I’m off to MDSW in a few days, I want to have all blog posts neatly wrapped up and ready to go. Yes, I could wait a couple more days, but I have very little planned in the way of knitting: I am going to be making mini-skeins, prepping the house, and trying to kick this chest cold that has taken up residence since last Wednesday night.  That is plenty on my plate without adding more knitting to it.  That and I have plans to finish up other crafty–but not knitting–projects in the next couple of days.   If I do manage to knit some more, a little yardage carrying over into May will not hurt. 😉

I’m really pleased with how much I managed to accomplish in April!  I knit a full shawl, another section on my daughter’s blanket, and did some work on socks this month.  Now I’m trying to decide what I want to work on next.

See you in May!

♥ Quick Shop Update: Lamby Toes will have one last update 23 April or 24 April before I leave for MDSW next Thursday. The shop will be in vacation mode from 30 April-14 May, 2015. I will be dyeing up lots of repeatables on Moon Pie Merino and hope to have a healthy amount of Experiments to upload as well. If you want to see a repeatable colorway on a different base, please let me know.

FOs:
O2 of O8 are finally finished! I incorporated the cable pattern from Zigzagular into these, but otherwise used my usual construction for socks. These were knit with Twisted Limone Tangy 100 base in the “Spooky” self-striping colorway.

WiPs:
Lamby Toes Experimental socks got a little love this week
♥ I made a lot of progress on my Kawaii KopyKat shawl.

Fiber Piggery:
♥ Lovely yarns from Hedgehog Fibres
October House April 2015 club colorway arrived
♥ Stitch markers from Sucre Sucre Miniatures
♥ Super cute painting from a lovely friend of mine.

So pick up a project, have a tasty drink, and spend a little time with me today! Thank you for choosing to do so, both new and returning viewers. I hope you have a lovely day!
