♥ Blank Canvas by Ysolda Teague (5£ or ~$7.42 US): I am using US size 07 needles and my MoonRover Monster Spin handspun. It is a wild sweater!

♥ Lessons about Sweater Spinning:
For future sweater spins, I think deciding the type of sweater I want to knit first will help me better determine how to spin the fiber. I would like to find a way to make stripe widths more consistent between sleeves and bodies. I also think I need to put more thought into color management and progression. Some of my colors together are a bit ugly and muddy.

♥ Virpi by Lilja Palmgren (~ $4.60 USD) knit with my LOOP combo spin on size 10 needles. This shawl is huge! I definitely recommend the pattern: it’s easy to customize and well-translated.

♥ My ITW wheel spin took a break this week, but I pulled out a spindle and spun up a couple mini skeins from samples of fiber I’ve been meaning to use.

♥ My sweet friend, Kate, picked up an October House fiber grab bag for me from Ply Away. It’s gorgeous!
♥ My Hello Yarn April fiber club arrived, as well as extras from March’s fiber club.
♥ Part of my order from Little Skein in the Big Wool arrived: it’s a Barruntando yarn bowl with little sheep! So sweet.
