Happy Thanksgiving, kittens! Today’s episode is a little light on content but long on talk. I start off showing two week’s worth of progress on Handspun/Handknit Xmas gifts, talk a little about the New Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery sampler, and end with answering a question about my dyeing method. Episode 136: Fighting for Light

Episode 136: Fighting for Light

Sorry about the lighting today; I had to record over two days and the sun kept playing hide and seek. There are parts where the lighting is really cruddy and there isn’t anything I can do about that. It doesn’t stop me from sharing some finished projects, a new handspun WIP, and lots of pretty things that have come in the mail for me! Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to see what I’m up to! Please consider joining the Knot A Podcast Ravelry group, and you can find the show notes over on the blog, sewknitpicky.net.

Episode 135: Short and Sweet

The video is a bit dark today, kittens; I apologize for that. It looked pretty decent on my phone as I recorded it and edited, but it was after I saw it on my PC that I realized there are some pretty hard shadows on my face. It’s been a little under a week since I last talked to you, but I have my Atelier to show progress on, as well as my Bess Top, and some pretties that came in the mail. Thank you so much for spending some of your time with me today, and please consider joining the Knot A Podcast Ravelry group!

October was nearly as productive as September was, which I’m quite pleased with! It was a very busy month here Chez Knitpicky with Spinzilla and a visit from family, so I really couldn’t ask for better numbers than that. I finished a pair of socks, a “sharf,” and made some excellent progress on my Atelier cardigan. It wasn’t finished by the end of the month as I wanted, but it’s in a good place to be finished in the first 10 days of November, give or take.

The weather has been cooling down (which is always welcome), and we’ve transitioned from overly hot weather in the the cool, damp fall. It’s even snowed once already! Perfect weather to curl up with a knitting project, some tea, and watch some movies or podcasts. It’s looking to be another excellent month for knitting and crafting! How did October treat you, kitten? Were you productive, or was it still too warm to want to work with wool where you are?
