Well. Those numbers just speak for themselves, don’t they?

I have given up pretending that I’m not going to self-soothe, including buying craft supplies. So let’s just try to get through the rest of 2021 feeling something positive sometimes. I have no idea how 2021 will wrap, but it will surely be with a lot of lovely things to snuggle.

How has the middle of 2021 been treating you? Are you getting some crafting done? Staying healthy? Getting your shots, keeping your masks on, hands clean, and social distancing?

Take care and stay healthy, kittens.

XO,
Amanda

Wow.

I have no idea how it’s 8 days into September and I’m only just noticing that I did not close out August yet, but that’s what 18 months of Pandemic will do to a person. Time has no meaning.

So. Yeah. Some knitting did happen early in the month of August, but then it petered out and right now I’m all about cross stitch and nothing else.

BUT.

I finished one sweater:

My yarn arrived and I finished this lovely thing! So happy about that.

And.

I finished a very large pair of handspun socks:

A really satisfying month, when one thinks about it. I did have another cast on, but I realized it’s the wrong size and ripped it. I need to find my motivation to restart that project.

My only knitting goal for 2021 is to knit something every month: yup, sure did. It was still the hottest it’s been since moving here in 2019, so I wasn’t surprised when my desire to knit finally decided to take a trip and come back later.

What about you, kitten? Are you making anything right now? Have you been safe from The Weather where you are? Have you had the focus and desire to Make anything? Maybe you’re reading something interesting? I’d love to hear what you’re up to.

Take care of yourselves and each other.

XO,
Amanda
